How to Install a Fender Eliminator on a Ducati Monster 1200R
- Loosen stock tail section by first unbolting two 4mm bolts underneath stock tail light
- Remove four bolts underneath seat; two each side and lower plastic belly shield
- Cut zip ties and free stock connectors, disconnecting three plugs
- Remove four shoulder bolts underneath the passenger seat and lower fender. You will be reusing two of these bolts
- Reinstall the two shoulder bolts in rear holes
- If installing fender eliminator with the ‘Standard’ plate mount, bolt on NRC license plate bracket to turn signal plate with M6 bolts and tooth washers
- Route connectors underneath seat and reinstall plastic belly shield using stock hardware, leaving every bolt loose so you can plug new kit on
- To mount kit on bike, use M5 bolts and bolt on through turn signal plate, supplied spacers, belly shield, and into bike
- Plug in connectors back into stock harness
- Put seat back on bike and ride safe
