After polishing every last curve on your beloved motorcycle, you make a final fleeting buff motion to finish the job. Immediately you spot a scratch that you hadn’t noticed the whole time you were cleaning your bike. Add a layer of stylish protection by adding a tank pad protector on your fuel tank.

Whether your style is sleek and refined or colorfully flared. Tank pad protectors come in all shapes, sizes and designs to match your bike style. It will allow you the protection on the areas that are most worn on your fuel tank by your clothing. It will overlap your paint job, but if you have an amazing custom painted design, you can opt for clear tank pads, or you can bike tufted leather pads, or any type of design from company logos to patriotic flags to sugar skulls.

Easy install

Simple to install and pretty easy to remove if you need to replace them, or if you are selling the bike.

Installation of right and left tank leaf:

1. Right Leaf: Using Isopropyl rubbing alcohol on a microfibre cloth, wipe down all mounting surfaces.
   1. Use pressure, get rid of any previous gunk. Mounting surface must be clean for proper adhesion.
2. Use ½” square spacers to ensure proper, especially as marked in the Luimoto packages
3. Prepare spacer squares by adding double sided tape on the back of each square
4. Do not remove adhesive backing paper on the tank pads while in the alignment process
5. Place spacer squares in the recommended location based on the installation notes per bike brand and tank pad shapes
6. You may use additional tape as marking if needed
7. Remove backing paper carefully
8. Align the tank leaf to your spacer squares and/or additional alignment aids
9. Once aligned, press down on your tank leaf firmly and continuously all around for 1 minute
10. Left Leaf: Repeat steps 1-6 for the other side

Installation of tank pad:

1. Tank Pad: Remove the alignment squares
2. Measure the suggested height and stick a piece of tape of the tank page
3. Measure the width: place a longer tape matched to your height measurement
4. Measure the center point of the gas tank using obvious reference points
5. Draw a centre point
6. Repeat the same process for the top of the tank
7. Roughly place your tank protector and line up the centre points (pre-bend if necessary)
8. Using your tape, place additional alignment markers on each side
9. Remove backing paper carefully. Take care not to remove the adhesive or touch it while removing the backing paper
10. Lightly stick one end first, while using your other hand to pivot and centre the other end
11. Once aligned, press down on your tank leaf firmly and continuously all around for 1 minute
12. Remove the alignment stickers and aides once complete.
